BRUSSELS – ITI Executive Vice President of Policy Josh Kallmer released the following statement about the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement.

“Trade has been a catalyst for economic growth and job creation across the globe. We commend European and Japanese officials for working to cement a trade agreement that will build stronger economic ties between the regions and give businesses the certainty they need to invest. As officials continue to improve the agreement, we urge the two regions to build on today’s success and create high-standard language on cross-border data flows and other digital trade-related topics in the future.”
